Public Policy

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how New Pioneer Squash Club uses personal data in the NPSC Portal and in related club administration. It is intended to be read together with the PDPA consent collected during signup and the privacy choices available in your member profile.

What personal data we collect

We may collect identification, contact, membership, eligibility, booking, attendance, finance, waiver, guardian-consent, emergency-contact, and communication records that are reasonably needed to run the club and portal.

This includes data you provide directly during signup, profile updates, bookings, waiver acknowledgement, and committee-managed membership workflows.

How we use and disclose personal data

We use personal data to administer membership, verify identity, manage sign-in and account security, process applications, operate bookings and attendance, manage billing and receipts, handle safety and emergency matters, maintain governance records, and send club or portal communications.

We may disclose personal data to committee members, service providers, venue or activity operators, professional advisers, payment or messaging providers, and regulators where reasonably required for those purposes or where required by law.

PDPA consent and withdrawal

During signup, the portal asks you to consent to the collection and use of your personal data. That consent supports operation of your membership and use of the portal.

You may later withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent will restrict your portal access until you re-consent, and some club services may no longer be available.

Even after withdrawal, the club may retain or continue to use certain records where this is reasonably required or permitted for legal, accounting, audit, governance, safety, dispute-resolution, fraud-prevention, or operational record-keeping purposes.

Access, correction, and accuracy

You should keep your profile information accurate and up to date. You may also request access to personal data we hold about you, or request correction of inaccurate data, by contacting the club.

We may need to verify your identity and may decline or limit a request where the law permits us to do so.

Retention, protection, and overseas processing

We keep personal data only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes above, or for longer where retention is required for legal, accounting, audit, governance, or dispute-handling reasons.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal data. Some systems or service providers may process data outside Singapore, and where that happens we aim to use arrangements that provide a comparable standard of protection.
